Overall Satisfaction with MailChimp
MailChimp is being used overall for my company and I work for the Foundation and we use this as well to send monthly e-blasts to all our members or specific audiences. It's a fast, user-friendly template and it's very easy to send emails for any need while including social media, video links.
- MailChimp makes it very easy to send emails to our members and donors. We currently send a personalized email to members to conduct marketing research.
- It provides detailed response, open rates and other email statistics.
- The template is easy to use and you may include images, social media icons and video links.
- The template designs could be more updated and visually appealing. The template is limited and doesn't leave much room for versatility.
- It would be great if you could upload videos directly in the email and not just link them to YouTube.
- No email, chat support unless you are a paid user.
- We are able to effectively communicate to members, donors regarding upcoming events, our marketing research survey.
- We successfully launched a GivingTuesday campaign via email.
- We are able to include our social media, links to our website, child stories, and our YouTube videos which engage our donors, retain donors and increase donations.
MailChimp offers a free plan forever while Constant Constant has a month free then a fee. They offer a free complete email marketing solutions that allows you to track web analytics and allows you to upload unlimited images. With Constant Contact they only allow five or so images to be uploaded then you have to pay for an upgrade.
