Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp is, I think, our first and only mail-sending platform for bulk and promotional emails. It is being used by our marketing department to send promotional emails on various occasions and for promotions. Mailchimp does address user-targeting and user-retention issues. We use Mailchimp to keep connected with users targeted according to the requirements.
- Mailchimp does offer a freemium version too, so it's easy and free to learn about Mailchimp.
- In the standard version, it has a few of the most used and best templates for bulk emails.
- Not so good for small organizations or start-ups because of pricing.
- A little bit time-consuming for full customization.
- It saves time and energy by easily sending and tracking bulk emails, and it affects user retention.
- Its various types of reporting and targeting allow us to target actual users.
We have not used all of Mailchimp's paid features, but we get benefits from its behavioral targeting feature. It keeps track of how end users respond to the mail sent from our side, and with the help of these reports, we can easily get a sorted list of targeted users.
We get nice user retention using Mailchimp, as it allows us to send various promotional mails using automation on various promotions or dates. Using a third-party tool like Mailchimp for bulk emails saves much effort and keeps our domain whitelisted on the search engines.
