Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

MailChimp helped me with sending our scheduled emails to our large list of contacts. It kept things simple and organized.

Pros

  • Copy/Paste an existing campaing when creating a new email.
  • Manages large amounts of email contacts very well
  • Excellent email analytics that help you understand the effectiveness of your communications.

Cons

  • The designing template when creating an email can be tricky
  • Duplicate contacts can be hard to deal with if it gets out of hand.
  • Saves a large amount of time for the team
  • It has helped with our record keeping

Mailchimp is better than Emma because of the customization options within the email body. It is much easier to design eye-catching layouts and create reusable templates that look great.
It takes no time at all to learn how to use it and once you do, it improves your day-to-day work significantly.
In my experience, we only used it for email communications but would be interested in trying out the social media side of things.
The most successful thing we've done is create a consistent schedule of email communications as well as organizing several different lists of contacts.

MailChimp was the first mass email marketing software that I used, and even with being new to the type of software, there was very little learning curve. It is very user friendly and self explanatory.
