Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ManageEngine Desktop Central with numerous environments to consolidate various needs such as inventory, patch, and remote management.

Pros and Cons

Hardware inventory management
Software inventory management

Sometimes it will report that systems are missing patches when they are really not.
I wish it was able to pull warranty details for computers directly instead of having to enter manually.

Return on Investment

Cuts down on time needed to deploy patches and software. Saves labor hours.
All-in-one solution versus purchasing several different solutions

Alternatives Considered

I have previously used SolarWinds Patch Manager and Spiceworks, and this is a lot simpler and quicker to be up and running versus the others.

Support Rating

They do an excellent job but there is always a little room for improvement. Otherwise they do an excellent job!
