Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Desktop Central

Desktop Central is used by IT to manage the EndPoints (computers and Servers). It allows support team to connect remotely and allows us to push software and different configurations. It keeps an inventory of assets and updates endpoints for Microsoft and 3rd party software.

  • Provide more solutions without adding additional add-ons
  • Improve support for non-English devices
  • Allows us to reduce time spent on remote assistance.
  • Updating assets using automatic configurations.
  • Involves Annual Maintenance Fees.
ManageEngine Desktop Central is simpler, easy to learn, [and has] online and dedicated support.
Depends on what resource is helping with a problem. It can be a very advanced or very junior technician.
Responds well to basic needs:
1. Update
2. Image/Re-image endpoints
3. Mass deployment
4. Pop-Up communications

Simple to use for managing endpoints (mass deployments, imaging, remote control) [and] simple to learn for new users. Simple to implement.
Not very good at reporting Software Inventory and not suitable for controlling non-office assets (Additional add-on needed).
