Overall Satisfaction with Meta Business Manager

I use Meta Business Manager on a weekly basis in Facebook and Instagram for running marketing campaigns to target my core audiences and potential customers, I use it integrated with other tools to build my audiences. For us it allows it to target both B2B and B2C for our product and allows us to drive leads/app sign ups.

Cons

  • A lot of metrics and analysis, some of it is really useful but others not
  • Very complex tool - could it be simplified and remove a lot of features
  • A lot of platform updates make it hard to know where things are
  • AI is pushed a lot but I like to have my own control
  • ROI - Generates Closed Won sales deals
  • Generates leads for us
  • Generates Awareness
  • Re-targeting options are great
  • Audience building and targeting
  • Great functionality
  • Great automations
  • AI is great
Overall is an advanced and complex tool so its not something that is easy to use and pick up quickly. Building campaigns and making sure the tracking and integrations are difficult so I would recommend getting an agency to manage it for you as you could end up spending a lot of money in the wrong way and not achieving any results. That said once you have played around with it a lot you get the hang of it, but truth is Meta Business Manager have done a great job making something complex usable.
Overall, its a great tool that allows you to target to your audience, all the above tools have different audiences and if Meta Business Manager allows you to get to yours then I would advise for you to give it a try. But be sure to use an agency or get help if you are beginner on this.

Ultimately if your target audience/customers use Facebook or Instagram then its something that you are going to need to use / or have a presence on. Buyers use multiple channels, so if you user searches on google you can target them on Meta Business Manager, to reinforce your brand and push for a sales conversions. If you are for example only target B2B and larger businesses I would say that its not for you.
