Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID
Using Microsoft Entra ID for creating, Managing users. Also, creating mail ID in the O365 cloud as per license, we will provide a license to use send and receive mail and also block outside domain mail send using rules creation in O365 Exchange. O365 standard and Basic licenses are there to provide users according to there usage. Teams, one drive, SharePoint, and online Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for basic license and application installed for a standard license we are using.
Pros
- Multifactor Authentication using Authenticator App
- Integration with synology NAS for o365 backup
- Easy use of application in mobile as well as desktop. User friendly for password reset
- Teams meeting feature is most important
Cons
- Teams addin with new Outlook is sometimes difficult to resolve after troubleshooting all the steps
- Also .pst download for any user is hard for administrator user also
- Developing or any integrating any application API is complex process
- Security is best part for unauthorized user
- Flexibility of use from anywhere and anytime (No downtime or data loss)
- Price is some what metters for startup companies
- For managing it required knowledged person (complex for application integration)
Yes, we are using it first on-prem, then we migrate it on Azure AD. For migration from local to the cloud, we need to Add a DNS record for sync with the cloud. MX record, A record, CNAME. Domain provider needs to setup some record for migration of on-prem to cloud. application on on-prem is also used to check health.

Performance is very fast. User friendly for all users to use any o365 application. Consistency while using it. Security and authentication methods are easy to use after giving training for a time.
