Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 2016

Microsoft Office 2016 is used across the whole organization. The business problems it addresses are organization, document creating and reporting. We use every program all day for its multi-use tools.

Pros

  • Updates regularly
  • Easy to use
  • Compatible with all devices (Apple + PC)
  • Programs are taught in school so many people know how to use it

Cons

  • Mobile friendly format for quick guides
  • Updates are expensive
  • Support is okay, but not the best from personal experience
  • Many skilled people use the tools
  • The organization has been a huge help with Excel and OneNote
Microsoft Office is the best and has been the best for years. 10 years into the workforce and there are no other comparable programs that stack up.
I have only had a few situations where I needed their support. It was fine, but nothing special.

Microsoft Office is best used on my team in finance for accounting problem-solving. We like to use formulas in Excel to provide the answers in data that we allocate for our multiple entities. Word has been a staple to the office package, and we like the tools that keep getting added to create a professional look to our documents.

We don't need it for more database scenarios since we work in healthcare, and because of HIPPA, we use other programs to manage sensitive patient data.
