Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365

We use Microsoft Office 365 across the whole organization. At a minimum, we utilize the Exchange Online component for email for nearly all staff, but the majority of users also use the Office apps via O365. There are also a handful of users utilizing audio conferencing and PowerBI apps as needed.
  • Management of licenses/users
  • Administration/admin dashboards
  • Maintenance and updates
  • Can be costly
  • License levels may be complicated
  • Admin dashboards could improve usability
  • Streamlined license management.
  • Ease of deployments.
  • Less time between procuring licenses/installing software = more time for other things.
Support is surprisingly great. Typically responses are immediate and someone will work with you until it is resolved. I’ve found sometimes getting scheduled time with support can involve a lot of phone tag, etc. but usually once you are working with someone, you can expect things to get done.

Do you think Microsoft 365 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Microsoft 365's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft 365 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft 365 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Microsoft 365 again?

Yes

For larger organizations with users that require the Microsoft Office apps, it is great and makes managing users and licenses fairly easy. Getting regular software and security updates take some of the stress off of IT. Things can get tricky if you have requirements for certain apps but don’t need to jump to a larger license level and also don’t want to manage a lot of one-off/add-on licenses.
