Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Office 365

We use this product across the entire company with every department. It allows us to stay connected through email, share documents, and access the most common document types in our industry whether in the office or working remotely. It provides end users with a familiar and simple interface, and support is always responsive.
  • Easy to install software reduces errors and omissions during the installation process.
  • Admin portal interface is easy and intuitive.
  • SharePoint allows for adaptive sharing, creation, and management of file libraries.
  • Documents, especially in Word, open differently in the desktop and online versions of the software. There are normal Word functions that don’t work properly in the online instance.
  • This service is so customizable in terms of number of users and levels of licensing that you can easily manage costs in an effective and simple manner.
There are some options out there for free email services and document management applications, but none of them are secure enough or offer the level of support and customization that this product does. The cost of Office 365 is more than worth the added security and support that come with the service.
Office 365 has been a nearly perfect application for our business. Outages and technical errors are nearly nonexistent. Price management and user customization are simple and straightforward. The admin console is intuitive and easy to use. all of the apps provide access to everything that we’ve ever needed. The only reason that I don’t give it a perfect rating is the inconsistency between how documents are editable in the desktop and online applications.

It is well suited for any business that is under 50 employees. Anything beyond that would probably be run more efficiently through a dedicated email server and licensing the specific apps that your company needs to use. Even at 25 employees, we only utilize about 50% of the apps provided, less for a number of our employees.
