Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
We're using Microsoft Teams as our communications platform for a few years now, since Microsoft decided to replace all its legacy platforms (MS Communicator, Lync, Skype for Business) and replace them by Teams.
It does a great job on 'concentrating' all the work on a centralized work platform. You can create work groups (Teams) to share documents, create and maintain shared annotations and files, you can add new tabs and connect them to other services like Power BI and have also your dashboards on a centralized platform. This is the best part of teams.
The part that I don't like that much is the Chat, what was supposed to be its main feature. As Teams has a lot of features, it is a heavy application, consuming a considerable amount of memory. The chat hangs sometimes and it keeps all the chat history for the eternity... what makes it very slow after some time. Also, there's no option to "reply" a message on the chat for Windows (only on Teams for smartphones).

- Centralizes a lot of features on a single workspace.
- Integration to other applications, such as Power BI, Planner, etc.
- A good place to keep shared files.
- The Chat feature could be improved.
- There's no "reply" option on the Chat.
- It consumes a lot of memory and it hangs a lot of times.
- The main one: Chat.
- Most departments in our organization have moved their SharePoint sites to Teams.
- It really allow us to have a more dynamic work and interaction.
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
Teams is a natural evolution from a lot of Microsoft tools, mainly the communication ones (like Communicator, Lync, Skype for Business). It also integrated some features from other tools, like the ability to manage and share files from SharePoint sites.
From what I know, Teams is the only platform with such options and integrations.
