Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
I use several Microsoft Teams functions in my organization including the webinar feature, channels and MS planner.
These tools allow our staff to connect and communicate on various topics and projects in clear, streamlined channels while the webinar features allows us to provide education and training to our customers. The ability to have folders and files within each channel keeps information in one centralized location that's easily accessible by both our in-office and remote staff.

Pros
- Keeps files organized by topic, keyword, year, and status
- Provides a specific location for staff to communicate and share and receive updates on various projects
- Connects information seamlessly from MS tool to MS tool (i.e. being able to share emails directly to a OneNote page)
Cons
- The webinars feature has some missing functionally such as the ability for all users to use the Q&A feature (only those with a Microsoft Teams account can use it now), the ability to upload documents for attendees to easily access and download, and the ability for presenters and organizers to easily chat amongst themselves throughout the webinar.
- The "Channels" organization hierarchy could be more clear. If you have several channels set up, it can get clunky and hard to find the specific channel you are looking for.
- The MS Planner tool lacks functionality and organization. You cannot assign more than one person to a task and it's confusing when you try to share tasks with people - it would be nice if they were automatically added to someone's calendar.
- It has reduced the number of tools our organization pays for (i.e. task management tools, MS Office tools, webinar tools) and therefore has had a cost savings for the organization (I'm unsure of specific numbers).
- Reduced the amount of staff hours spent looking for documents and working to provide a centralized location to house information.
- Includes safety and security features ensuring my organization is less vulnerable to cyber threats.
