Overall Satisfaction with MindManager
I am a PhD student, acting both as an independent research investigator and as a research assistant for my advisor's projects. I use MinManager to model relationships between concepts as I discover them in the scholarly literature, and to construct concept maps for presentations and publications.
- Brainstorming
- Process Mapping
- Knowledge Management
- Many formats of maps available
- Reasonably intuitive to "play around" with and figure out
- I'd like to see a function where finalized maps can have all white space in the map be automatically reduced or minimized (good for use when sharing the map in print format)

- Easy to convey a large amount of complex information to non-experts quickly
