As a Medical Teacher, I use MindManager for 1. I am writing notes during lectures. 2. Preparing lectures & Teaching sessions. 3. Using my prepared mind maps in my presentations. 4. Preparing stepwise algorithms for medical diagnosis. 5. Preparing roadmaps for lectures, seminars & thesis writing. 6. Help to clarify the thought process for my students as we discuss medical topics.

Not very friendly with numbers. E.g. Preparing a department budget.

It's great in my line of medical teaching and note-taking. It prepares lovely mind maps for use in my presentations. It works well with MS Office programs like MS Word. It creates summaries very quickly. It's great for preparing medical algorithms.
