Experience of a process mapping consultant
Overall Satisfaction with MindManager
There is one specific shortcoming of MindManager that I wish to share and that its lack of support for Windows Scaling. I use MindManager primarily these days for process mapping and whilst there are still some improvements that could be made to this feature, it does a good job of providing a processing mapping tool that is easy to use and support a range mapping tasks from simple to complex. One challenge with this activity is that ability to see the whole or most of the process on one screen. I have therefore invested in a larger 43" screen with a higher resolution giving me more 'real estate'. When using larger screens that are now increasingly common, it is usual for the user to adjust the Windows Display Scaling to a percentage higher than 100%. This work perfectly for every application I use, apart from MindManager. Instead, MindManager outputs a less sharp screen display on scaling levels > 100%. This reduction is visual display clarity is significant and has caused me to have to retain 100% scaling, to the detrimental use of other applications in order accommodate MindManager use. Please improve screen presentation to support Windows display scaling. Thanks Steve
