Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Several departments and faculties use Miro at the TU Delft. We enjoy the creativity we can use and the fact that we can brainstorm digitally this way. The how and why we use it differs, personally I've used it both to brainstorm, collect input, and as a way to keep track of what we are working on.
  • We love the use of post-its and the different colors.
  • We use it as a Kanban board.
  • We use it to draw ideas.
  • The navigation is sometimes tricky, it seems to switch between touch and mouse sometimes.
  • More creative input.
  • More visual input.
  • Less miscommunication.
We used a little game to get users to get to know the features. This worked very well.
It was quite easy to get used to and quick to start with.
Yes, especially during the Covid pandemic, but even before it was easier to meet with colleagues from different buildings/locations.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro has more options and flexibility in use.
If the users have a bit of knowledge or have used Miro before it is a very nice tool for meetings, brainstorms, preparation, stand-ups, etc. If the users are unfamiliar, it takes a little time to get to know the options and that sometimes frustrates people who just want to get to their input.
