Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We started using Miro to collaborate with external companies, to discuss and develop different processes and flows of the company. In the beginning, it was a bit confusing, but the features of the tool really allowed us to have effective communication and productivity. Currently, we are using Miro internally in our R&D department and we will expand the usage to other groups soon.
  • Generate processes and visual procedures.
  • Collaboration between users is very easy.
  • Lots of templates that simplify the start-up ramp.
  • Sometimes it's difficult to move over the board without moving some things unintentionally.
  • There should be folders to be able to organize the boards.
  • Sometimes some objects are slightly moved or slightly resized unintentionally.
  • Improved collaboration with external and internal members.
Sometimes it is a bit confusing with the different sizes of some elements, but it's true that the flexibility is very high. The tool is very good-looking and allows us to create very attractive presentations and flows in a very effective way. Sometimes we had some problems with the different internet explorers, but I'm currently using the app and this has eliminated all the problems.
Currently, we can't integrate Miro with a lot of our toolings because of company internal policies, but the catalog seems to be very fine. We hope in the future we can integrate the tools that we are currently using to have better productivity.
This is one of the best qualities of this software. Initially, we started working with external collaborators, and it was very simple to start working together. The tool is very flexible and allows different kinds of meetings and collaboration, so the limitation is more on the culture of the company than on the tool itself.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

As we are using Jira for projects, sometimes you just need something simpler and not really that powerful, so using Kanban boards from Miro has helped that. Also, we use Miro as a whiteboard for brainstorming or other meetings that need a lot of flexibility, and the way it helps to collaborate with others is very good.
We have been successfully using Miro in the creation and discussion of new processes for my department where we were looking at the feedback of several members and performing several iterations of improvement. The final result is very visual, and it's easy to keep updated. The tool at the beginning seemed a bit difficult to manage but like any other tool, it's only a matter of time to get used to it (and not a very long time). Being home-working, it has added a new way of collaboration between the company members and this is always good.
