Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I enjoy using Miro to organize my thoughts on research findings and make connections between the thoughts of different scholars. I also use it to map out papers I am about to write. What I like most is that I am able to flexibly move around elements and restructure thoughts any way I wish to.
  • Mindmapping.
  • Visual representation of ideas.
  • Real-time feedback.
  • Smooth transition of mindmaps into structured word documents.
  • Automatic sizing of text in shapes.
  • Increased writing output.
It was a bit slow to begin with, but now that I got the hang of it, I wouldn't brainstorm without it anymore!
It was hard to get a hang of at first.
It has been a useful collaboration tool across space and time.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Slack
Miro is excellent for structuring thoughts and collaborating in real-time. It also serves as a personal mindmap. The app is not infinitely expandable, as advertised, even though it does zoom in and out a LOT. So, if you are planning a large project, be sure to start small enough!
