Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps my physician informatics department of 20 members stay connected. It is superior to SharePoint and other listing sites by allowing an attractive visual space to organize and reorganize our thoughts, size up our respective projects, and share ideas easily. I use it during meetings to create a many-to-many conversation and avoid the long, sequential ‘let me tell you what I am working on’ boring meeting. Miro works very well for us.

Pros

  • Visually attractive sharing space.
  • Simultaneous editing.
  • Flexible tools to illustrate complex ideas.

Cons

  • Resizing boxes can be awkward at times.
  • Teaching newbies to avoid unintended moving of objects and basic navigation could be more self-evident.
  • It has simplified meetings where everyone can update their portfolio during the meeting and have it be read by all at the same time.
Minimal implementation effort was required. There was just one expert and some coaching during 1 meeting.
We did not do any specific integration.
Our team is distributed across 250 miles. We only meet virtually and the Miro space is essential to our collaboration each month, during active projects.

On our team of 20, this sharing tool is nimble, fun to use, promotes creativity, and allows for simultaneous sharing. We are still learning and enjoying the journey to deepen our teamwork. We use it to anchor our monthly team meetings and have a place to reference each other’s work.
