Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is used as a teaching tool.

Pros

  • Quizzes for reading material.
  • Collaborative boards for in-class breakout rooms.
  • Icebreaker activities.

Cons

  • More templates to choose from for educational purposes.
  • Better access for students without having to log in.
  • Easy way to find work from colleagues of the same institution.
  • Improve online collaboration.
  • Improve immediate feedback for online collaboration.
  • Review of in-class activity progress, see who is working and who isn't.
Sometimes it is hard to set up the session for the students so they can access it from the app. (Desktop/Windows 10).
Same comment as before, not easy to give access to students.
Due to Covid19, we had to change our teaching model to all virtual, so the use of this tool has been vital to reach the students in their own locations, also it has given us the chance to give now classes on a regional or national level, instead of only local.
