Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am a professor and I was looking for an online whiteboard that I could use in my online lectures. Then, I found out Miro and I start using it since everyone can collaborate in real-time, add notes, and solve problems visually. My students definitely love Miro, they do not have to take notes because they can access the board whenever they want and use the board to go over the topics that we have discussed in the class.
  • Easy to use.
  • Everyone can visualize and solve complex problems.
  • Free for educators.
  • Sometimes there are troubles using Miro on mobile devices.
  • Limited range of colors for sticky notes.
  • It is easier to explain complex topics.
  • Everyone can collaborate, therefore every person feels included in the result.
Better integration with teleconferencing software programs.
Better integration with learning platforms.
It enables users to simultaneously collaborate, no matter where they are working.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Because I find extremely useful the feature “bring everyone to me” When I give a lecture and I use Miro as a whiteboard I need to make sure that nobody has gotten lost. It also allows me to guide my students through the board.
MURAL (formerly Mural.ly), Lucidspark
Well suited: brainstorming, problem-solving, easy to use for guests, voting. Less appropriate: display a large amount of numerical data (it be would wonderful if tables could make simple arithmetical operations such as additions or subtractions).
