Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It's available for the whole organization to use. Not sure if everyone uses it but it's useful for collaboration for research purposes. We sometimes share the Miro boards with other external stakeholders so Miro is good in terms of sharing permissions. Good for addressing real-time collaboration between different teams and labs.

Pros

  • Sharing permissions.
  • Collaboration.
  • Easy to make mind maps.

Cons

  • Would like to see a live chat function.
  • Navigation could be improved.
  • More interactive features.
  • Reduced file sharing.
  • Improved workshop participation.
  • Can take some time to set up.
Implementation is expected. I'm satisfied with it.
Sometimes it's hard to transfer content between boards and can be confusing with downloading entire boards. Still possible, just takes extra time learning.
We took up the Miro board when we couldn't do in-person post-it sessions so it has been great for collaboration. We also love that we can save all the post-its without having to take pictures of them. It's also more eco-friendly.

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

We sometimes use these drives for live collaboration but it's not as visually appealing compared to Miro.
I like using Miro for collaborating with team members. At times, I'll also use it for my own personal work. It's a good place to just plop down whatever ideas come to mind. However, it may not be good as a final formalized document to present to stakeholders. Regardless, still like using it.
