Review of Miro use in change teams
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Used by several areas, but on a trial and experimental basis.
Pros
- Allows group collaboration and interaction during post implementation reviews.
- Easy and quick to learn.
- Allows collaboration during requirements prioritization.
Cons
- It would be good if you could add "swim lanes" to a board.
- Could you allow participants to vote on a set number of sticky notes for example to pick their top three?
- Saving of time spent in reviews.
- Less rework.
Miro has been highly beneficial during the pandemic-induced work from the home environment as more individuals and teams were pushed into working remotely and as such Miro has enabled both functional teams and project teams in ways that better-allowed projects to be kept on track and improved communication of change and issues.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
No
I wasn't involved in a selection process but was recommended Miro by a colleague who had previously used Miro in another environment and had effectively brought the tool to the attention of the team. They were able to demonstrate how it could add value to implement some process changes that we were seeking to make.
