Overall Satisfaction with Miro

- We can share work simultaneously, without being in the same area.
- Pinup and work on one (or more) projects together.
- Other students can learn from one another by sharing a Miro link.
- Has vast virtual space, can move around and change things when it is convenient.
- It is straightforward and simple to use.
- I currently use it as a portfolio planner, it has been very helpful.

Pros

  • It is simple and straightforward to use.
  • People can work on a project all together without being in the same area.
  • It updates your work instantly.

Cons

  • Being able to copy and paste from somewhere such as Powerpoint.
  • Ability to add larger documents on the the board without impacting the time it takes to load.
  • Improved collaboration.
  • Increase in peer learning.
  • Easier to plan projects.
It was easy to learn how to use it, we all learned how to use it together.
Everyone was introduced to it over one session and was given a task to complete so we were learning whilst doing it, it was very helpful to get the hang of how Miro works.
It has allowed teams to work effectively and collaboratively when we were all working online, it didn't hinder the way we worked even though we were all online. It benefitted us greatly as we could all share and "pin-up" work at the same time and follow each other's cursors.

Yes

Miro has a fluidity other products do not seem to have just yet. It was a big virtual space to share work, it has multiple templates for multiple uses. It is versatile and adaptable depending on the purpose you are using it for.
Miro is really good for both individual and teamwork. It is easily adaptable, nothing feels set in stone, it updates the board really fast. In team situations, team members can follow what one member is doing by following the cursor. It is easy to follow during crits, presentations, or any reviews.
