Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used as a tool to collect requirements for a software deployment tool. It's used throughout the entire company for similar reasons and enables colleagues to collaborate on similar projects. It's interactive so multiple users can simultaneously work on the same Miro board and edit sections individually in real-time while others see exactly what you're doing.
  • Enables real-time collaboration.
  • Links with Jira to create user stories directly.
  • The interaction with Jira is a bit clunky and requires the user to complete user stories in Jira rather than completely within Miro.
  • No measurable financial benefits but does have the advantage of providing a workspace for the team to collaborate.
The initial implementation was fine but the integration to Jira was and still is not perfect.
No specific training was required and the tool is intuitive enough to pick it up and get going. From its initial implementation, it's worked exactly how it was designed to and has made collaboration on projects simple and straightforward.
With teams all working remotely, real-time views of the whiteboard and what others are doing on the board is great.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I haven't used anything remotely similar to Miro before.
Creating user stories, albeit with additional Jira involvement, is particularly useful as it allows users to work completely within Miro. Dragging and dropping stories from sprint to sprint and roadmaps change is seamless and makes adding or removing stories a piece of cake. Real-time collaboration allows other users to see instantly what's happening with the roadmap.
