Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I currently use Miro as a whiteboarding tool for virtual meetings with coworkers when we need to visualize items easier and collaborate on ideas or flowcharts. It is a great way to get the team involved and be able to see what their other teammates have to say about a process or a project.

Pros

  • Ability to have multiple users in the interface at a time.
  • Clean and fun way to present flow charts and ideas.
  • Love Miro's sticky Notes.

Cons

  • The ability to maneuver about the board could me more intuitive.
  • Free trainings on how to use more of the features.
  • Easier way to view saved boards.
  • Makes meetings more interactive.
  • Great way to whiteboard in virtual meetings.
  • Good with helping teams collaborate.
Overall pretty easy to sign up or implement. I am not sure if I would have used Miro initially if a coworker had not recommended it to me. I think like with most tools there is a learning curve in getting started if you have not used it in the past.
I have not used Miro with other processes yet, so unsure of how the product can be utilized and interact with other platforms. I would, however, be interested in learning more about the different integration it has with other programs and how to maximize efficiencies it has with other platforms.
Currently, with the Covid-19 pandemic situation, my team is all working remotely from home rather than together in an office. Through the use of Miro, we have been able to use it in meetings on the whiteboard where we typically would have done so in the office in a conference room and have the ability to all edit the notes at once.

I have not yet utilized other products that function similar to Miro, since I feel that Miro has been able to supply me with all the things I am looking for in a virtual whiteboarding experience. For that reason, I feel that Miro does a great job against its competitors.
I tend to use Miro more for whiteboarding and note much else. Most likely because I am not aware of the other features that it has, I would like to learn more about what else it has to offer. As such would be great if they offered free training on its uses.
