Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We've used Miro numerous times for large-scale ideation sessions, along with project planning and agile frameworks. I've recently also used the process flow tools to build out simple flow charts, which were far simpler than any previous platforms I've used. Zooming in infinitely is really useful in this case as it results in a lot less re-sizing as I build the diagrams up.
  • Bringing large groups of people together in one interface.
  • Flow diagrams.
  • Some parts of flow chart were a bit clunky - e.g. aligning connector arrows.
  • Massively increased speed of process design and change.
If this means ease of integration within the organisation it's been quite straightforward. Creating an account was a simple process and with it being a web-based app there were no hurdles to get over with internal IT systems blocking the software.
We have been able to easily collaborate between all UK offices at the same time, which has reduced travel costs immensely and kept us all much safer during the covid pandemic. It has provided a more efficient means of interaction than in-person project work.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited to ideation sessions where a large number of people need to work on a project at the same time. It's easy to manipulate the board and not get in each other's way. It's definitely much more covid-safe than standing around a whiteboard! Less appropriate for building out anything that needs to be visually more attractive, e.g. client-facing.
