Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Working remotely, I wanted to find a way to have engaging wellbeing sessions for colleagues. In the past, we would have run in-person workshops where we get everyone to contribute what is working well, and what would make the work experience even better. This would be for around 50 people, split into 3 groups run every quarter. Using Miro, we use the live note-taking function to get everyone to write on post-it notes, and that allows us to reflect and discuss and makes it a meaningful employee experience
Pros
- Easy to pick up and use
- Lots of templates available for inspiration
- Saved forever, so can reference back without having to save soft-copies
Cons
- Templates should be easier to edit and amend that are made from multiple components. For example, I only want 1-2 of the boxes from a template but I have to individually select and delete every component
- Improved engagement with employees
- Place to store old feedback and refer to when looking at progress
Easier to get everyone to have a voice, usually in bigger meetings only the loudest are heard but here you can get everyone's input. Having a central place to have these conversations are really helpful to give employees' trust that you are listening to their views.
