Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We used it to collaboratively visualize a variety of frameworks (e.g., SWOT analysis, consumer journey map, BMC, Porter's 5 Forces, etc.). We also used it to create a number of diagrams and exhibits. We were able to create visually appealing diagrams and work on them as a team together at the same time.
  • Collaboration capabilities
  • Templates
  • Visual appeal
  • Text wrapping--words would not fit into a single line (instead of shrinking to fit, words would be cut off and run onto the next line)
  • Sticky notes not being able to be made different lengths and widths
  • Reduced project completion time
  • Excellent grade results--I've received an A on every assignment I used Miro for so far
The sharing functions were a bit confusing--the multiple different boards, sharing within boards, etc.
Integrated well within our group
Made it very easy for people in my group to work at the same time from different laptops, or to work in different places at the same time. Really saved time by allowing us all to contribute simultaneously.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

My experience with Canva is pretty limited, and Miro was highly recommended by my professor, so I chose to use Miro.
Well suited scenarios: Visualization of frameworks and diagrams, collaboration scenarios
Less well-suited scenarios: text-heavy work and numerical graphs/data visualization
