Overall Satisfaction with Miro

For educational uses, such as students using shared Miro boards to collaborate on assignments within an online class. This includes embedding the Miro boards within Gather Town virtual classrooms.
  • Multiple users simultaneously editing
  • User friendly interface eg arrows snap to where you want them
  • Embeds within other online environments eg. Gather Town
  • Sometimes things get soaked about by accident. An experienced user will know to 'lock' items but this could be more obvious.
  • You have to copy and edit the embed code in a very particular way to use within Gather Town -- could be simplified
  • I don't know as I am not involved with accounts directly
As stated previously embedding boards is finicky. Could also be clearer how to sort boards into folders (terminology of 'Miro Teams' and 'Projects' is confusing especially where Microsoft Teams is already being used within the organization). Otherwise an excellent experience.
I am not entirely certain what is meant by integration
Has helped students to collaborate on poster projects and group assignments during lockdown when they are unable to meet in a café or library as they might usually do

Easy to set a Miro board up to be edited by anybody with the link meaning students do not need a complicated login to use the shared whiteboard
