Miro - an overview from a volunteer
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In EESTEC, we use Miro first of all for brainstorming and ideation sessions. In many meetings, there is the need to collaborate and come together on many ideas. Thus, having the ability to work at the same time together on the same project is really helpful. Additionally, we use it as a virtual blackboard for training sessions.
Pros
- Easy to build frames and screens
- Easy to invite people and collaborate
- Friendly UX that people understand quickly
Cons
- Some times presentation view is not the best thing possible. Hard to focus.
- Locking frames can lock elements and vice versa
- Reduced discussion time
- Team members engagement increase
Since we are working from many countries, we have the ability to collaborate on many projects both asynchronously and in online meetings. That makes procedures easier and bridges the gaps between the borders.
