Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use miro as an organization and brainstorming tool; we utilize it further for basic communication and planning but mostly for visualization of ideas and discussion about certain topics. Some of us utilize it on more of a daily basis applying agile methods together with Miro.

Pros

  • Sticky notes are very matured in my use case.
  • The desktop app for Mac works really well.
  • No major difficulties with the UI.

Cons

  • The web app runs very poorly on macOS forcing the usage of the app.
  • Sometimes when the internet is slower major skips or accelerations happen, but they is not constant.
  • A little bit more freedom for personal accounts.
  • Quicker idea generation on home office environment.
  • Better maturing of ideas since you can see the overview.
  • Voting for engagement is better.
Everyone was new and learned very quickly and without much of a hassle.
As said before this made it very easy for the home office environment, making it easier for new employees to get onboarded and in rhythm with the projects.

Yes

I feel that Miro has lesser prototyping options than Figma; Figma really stands out in that regard, together with truly designing screens, buttons, etc.
