Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro usually for generating Value stream Mapping for an existing production line in my company. It helps in generating the VSMs quickly and the best part is more than 1 person can work on the same file (VSM) at the same time which ultimately speed up the process. Its easy to use, easy to edit and easy to present (if compared with MS Excel).

  • Cloud storage available. Hence saved files can be accessed from anywhere.
  • Formulas can be added on the platform (same as MS excel)
  • performance of the platform can be made more smother and faster especially when more people are working on the same file.
  • More Templates can be added which are ready to use
  • Reduced project completion time and productivity.
  • Effective presentation with better graphics.
I never tried of integrating it with other platforms.
Miro has reduced the overall time for the planning phase of the projects. With Miro, more than one person can work together anytime and from anywhere. This functionality avoids sending files again and again to your colleagues for their input and another kind of editing if necessary.

I used to do VSMs on MS Excel. It was a bit time-consuming. With Miro, I can create VSMs in less time. I only miss the Math formulas which are better in MS excel.
Miro is well suited for preparing Charts, flow diagrams, VSMs, and Graphs. It has tools that are very easy to use in creating the same. Miro is less appropriate when calculations are needed. Miro cannot calculate on its own. While using Miro, every time we had to do the calculations on a separate calculator.
