Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Miro to visualize large (internal) workflows on which we base programming decisions. The tool helps us keep track of the process as a whole while being able to zoom in on specific parts that need discussion. We use it to work across various teams with sometimes different backgrounds.

Implementation Rating

Not being the person in charge of implementing the tool, I am not the expert in answering this specific question. We have integrated the tool into our intranet, and people with an admin role can easily assign access to those requesting access as they might become involved in projects which use Miro.

Ease of Integration

I cannot really speak to that, not being the one having done the integration. As I said before, the tool can be added to the intranet and can, from that point be assigned to different people from the organization, which is surely something that can be useful, especially for international teams.

Collaboration

We have used the aforementioned tool named Miro with great success in order to get away from purely and entirely verbal discussions. We have also used said tool to help us as an international team simplify visualizing our internal workflows, which can be very complex sometimes and need careful evaluation from different stakeholders.

I would recommend Miro to a colleague if said colleague was in a situation where they wanted to replicate a large workflow or a complex structure for a broader audience or in an online meeting. It is not suited to be used for anything that needs to be printed as a hand-out
