Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for global virtual continuous improvement events (Kaizens) so that the team can interact in one board. It allows my team to interact remotely from various global sites. These are typically 3-4 day events.

Pros

  • We can organize content and have it in one view
  • Allows uses to access content at the same time, but also work in different subgroups
  • single sign on

Cons

  • Miro can be frustrating to use for new uses. It is not that user friendly. May be make it require less "clicks" and easier to maneuver.
  • Copy/Paste function from other applications to Miro (especially Microsoft) is extremely poor. A lot of organizations use Microsoft applications and would love the flexibility to easily copy and paste with Miro
  • Help function is not adequate. It really requires other uses help to get people using it
  • Allowed global continuous improvement events/workshops to happen without needing to arrange for travel. Faster operation margin expansion.
Integrated with MS TEAMS. Not that helpful. This may be an issue with MS teams.
It has allowed workshops to happen remotely with global sites where the participants interacted and worked together.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

No

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

Well suited: Remote/online events/workshops, situations where users are fairly well trained in Miro

Less appropriate: Situations where users are not familiar with Miro. It can be a bit of a "clunky" tool unless there are experienced users
