Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a fantastic tool that my team has used heavily for over a year now. I can't recommend it enough to other co-workers who have a need to collaborate on a regular basis (which most teams do!) My team is currently having to have multiple workshops a week where we are coming together and ironing out details of what the future of our team looks like and why, and I don't think we could have done it without the use of Miro. It's very easy-to-use and understand, not to mention very visibly appealing design-wise. It is the ultimate digital whiteboard where teams can connect the dots. Especially during these times where working from home is a lot more common, this tool has been the reason our team has stayed aligned and been able to keep the work moving forward.

Pros

  • Design- visibly appealing
  • User friendly/ easy to learn and understand
  • Multiple users can use it at once and it live saves changes
  • Miro provides templates which prove to be very helpful

Cons

  • At times it's tough to move around within Miro (click and drag vs. use of keybaord arrows)
  • Improved productivity as we go through major team re-org

Our team is currently undergoing some major transitions so our team has had to whiteboard out what our roles were and what they should be/major team opportunities. Miro has been the heart of our many workshops as we undergo this major transition.

Miro has capabilities that other tools, such as Airtable and Google Sheets do not have. Miro allows for multiple people to "brainstorm" or workshop our issues in a very clear and organized way.
Miro is perfect for teams that need to collaborate/whiteboard. It's ideal for when multiple team members need to input information in, when a team needs to brainstorm, building out programs, etc. I don't think Miro would be appropriate for presentations. It's a digital whiteboard!
