Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a great tool for team collaboration, especially for brainstorming, retrospective, and workshops.
We have started with the free version of Miro and found it super helpful. Afterwards, the company purchased license for everyone. Nowadays, we use Miro for retrospective every month - I like the templates. As a manager, I try to make every retro fun and inclusive. These templates always give me new ideas for different formats of retro. I find it is very helpful to collaborate on workshops via Miro as well - usually we have a big group of colleagues working on the same topic. Miro is perfect for such a scenario - there are plenty of helpful features we can make use of, such as voting, emoji's, timer (even with music!), etc. They make our workshops more collaborative and fun!

Pros

  • Performance is good - it is very smooth to use
  • Tons of templates which can be made use of directly
  • Many small but helpful features (like timer, vote, emoji)

Cons

  • It goes quite well for me in general - there were some issues with some accounts couldn't access to Miro boards but I guess that is due to free/corporate license switch, not Miro's problem
  • Collaborative and inclusive way of working - everyone's opinions are visible
  • Efficient for coming up with product ideas, and having them recorded
I weren't involved for integration.
We don't have experience of kicking start new products with Miro.
