Miro for me!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to jointly map assurance against our key risks. This allows us to identify any gaps or overlaps, and informs future assurance work. We can easily identify controls and assurance steps, link them together, and move around as they develop. Multiple users make the process really collaborative and transparent.
Pros
- Creating virtual sticky notes
- Building in pictures
- Linking external websites
Cons
- More than two sizes of sticky notes would be good
- Moving stickies sometimes moves whole frames
- Saves time spent travelling and sitting in meetings
- Speeds up the time sit takes to map a process
Miro works well when you want to recreate virtually a whiteboard meeting - it allows all participants to take part and is great for collecting ideas and testing how things fit together. It's also great for building process maps, and the infinite nature of the board means you can have different sections with different sizes, which you can then drill down into.
