Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro to collaborate and organize things like listening sessions, interviews, and other qualitative datasets. It is great for distilling outputs, especially when we have an in-person meeting that needs to have organized outputs available virtually. We had a sticky storm. We were able to use a plug-in to generate those stickies into a digital version with pretty decent handwriting-reading by the plug-in. This saved us a lot of time for us.
Pros
- Translating physical stickies into virtual ones.
- Live collaboration with no lag-time.
- The ability to have plug-ins.
Cons
- Font sizing is weird depending on the zoom level. A 16px is not always 16px.
- Font choices. I can change fonts for groups but not individually in stickies?
- Not sure when to use the other features.
- Documentation of meeting outputs.
- Having an easily editable document.
- Organizing thoughts for complex topics.
It lets us collaborate more easily and helps us to have both in-person and virtual meetings connect together to have a hybrid style.
