Overall Satisfaction with Miro
At my current client, Miro is mainly used as a tool to prepare and facilitate agile ceremonies, e.g., planning and retros. Scrummasters and RTEs prepare the boards, which are then used in large-scale online meetings by the other roles. We write requirements, suggestions, and short summaries of user stories on notes and then place them in the appropriate swim lanes. Dependencies are marked by connecting notes in the swim lanes of different teams.
Pros
- Boards with a large number of participants
- Ease of use
- Large variety of objects to place on the board
Cons
- Performance of the desktop app is not very good, we prefer the browser version
- Especially beginners often accidentally change or delete objects
- Shorter time for well prepared meetings
Miro has enabled meeting types such as PI Plannings for large SAFe Trains even in a time of remote working.
