Overall Satisfaction with Miro
This is the new way of documenting ideas, working virtually whether internally or with clients and documenting our meeting, our solution and our implementation for future team onboarding, referring back to the project once we need to execute, sharing solutions with other teams and empowering our visual learners. This is the new standard of excellence on all of my projects.
Pros
- fast
- malleable
- moveable
Cons
- Copy/paste formats
- Grids/Excel
- print to PDF/share "hardcopy"
- reduced the time I need to onboard a new team member
- reduce the time i need to re-explain a process flow
- impressed teams/clients in presentations
I work 90% remotely and this is key to my success. No longer can I draw out in person my thoughts or even talk productively live on video with my hands etc. so this is key to helping my team members visualize what I'm asking. Team members also seem to struggle with taking notes while I'm giving instructions so this helps me live document for them what I'm asking for, giving them something to refer to when we're finished, add their questions/notes to later and hand off as our finished product documenting our process. Key part of every project I'm working on.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
Miro is better at sharing/live collaborating, editing, saving that version in a spot accessible to all so that I don't have to worry about someone creating a copy version or linking to something outdated.
