Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to do some brainstorming on projects. We like creating boards related to UX for the brainstorms. We also use it for our weekly standups. And when we're on a sprint, miro helps us too to retrospective activities and cooldowns. We also create projects planning on miro and user flow breakdowns.

Pros

  • Existing boards, they're so visually appealing.
  • I liked the time counting when we were brainstorming or doing retrospective activities.
  • I like the features, such as voting or estimation, that are not available in Figma.

Cons

  • For me, sometimes it is hard to find all the left menu options. They are hidden.
  • Some capabilities are not so intuitive. For example, all the possibilities a sticky has. After using it several times, I was able to understand them, but I got frustrated in the path.
  • We improved the planning of projects.
  • Helped doing retrospectives and cooldowns during sprints.
Our design team is worldwide and works remotely. So Miro has been a useful tool to work all together no matter where everyone is located. Personally, I think Miro's big win is that it makes communication in a working relationship, that the kilometers don't matter at all.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I think Miro is a great place for brainstorming, planning, and retrospectives. Visually is more appealing than other platforms, so it makes easier for the teams to get involved in activities. Although they've great capabilities that not all platforms have, sometimes I feel is hard to get into the option or tool you're looking for. They're somehow hidden.
