At my company we use Miro to do quarterly planning and visualize our progress on work items as we progress through the quarter. This allows us to collaborate across teams, within our team, and give a visual representation of our progress as we deliver work throughout the quarter and across quarters.

Miro has simplified our collaboration as we work through our quarterly planning activities. It enables our local part of the organization (over 200 people) to collaborate together, visualize dependencies, and visualize which teams will be doing what work on what kind of timeline.

Miro is good to give higher level management a picture of where a particular work item is. The most cumbersome part of that process is synchronizing it with our Agile tool. That is a manual process we find to be worth the effort because of the ease of explanation that our board provides to other teams and stakeholders.
