I use it to facilitate workshops about strategy development, product vision development, product roadmap development, product objective development, process development/improvement, etc.

Pros

Offer templates to different needs
Collaboration between contributors to development product roadmaps
Flexibility to work remotely with a huge number of diverse collaborators

Cons

How to switch easily from mouse to trackpad and use a trackpad effectively.
When using swimlanes, arrow keys should work as it is the case in Office while editing swimlane titles.
Be able to hide information without letting people know something is hidden.

Return on Investment

Contributors productivity, we don't need to create multiple documents to convey one idea.
Only one tool to facilitate a workshop, survey people, and estimate.

People quickly engage to use Miro because it's a super easy tool and people can get access fast and start working immediately. Its SSO feature it's a time-server one. People get onboard really quick and they get a great visibility if everything is kept organized, otherwise it's confusing. That's something to consider though.

Collaboration is awesome in Miro. There are so many templates ready to use that anytime I want to facilitate a workshop, there are different options to use in order to engage contributors. While developing a product roadmap, there are so many options to use. It's the same to do story mapping sessions or to map a process.
It's less appropriate to document things because I fear people are going to change it. It's ok to start with but to finish with another more traditional solution, like Excel or Word.
