Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Prior to the pandemic, we traveled to client sites often and did ALOT of whiteboarding amongst our teams. Now, we do ALL of that whiteboarding within Miro. For instance, brainstorming, workshopping, gathering feedback, mocking up workflows, etc. we do all of this in Miro. Miro has truly allowed us to travel less because of how easy it is to collaborate in this way.
Pros
- Collaboration: It is easy to comment, bring people "to you," and solicit feedback from several users at once.
- Process Flows: It is so easy to quickly pull together and iterate a process flow in Miro.
- Formatting: It is MUCH easier to make a Miro look nice as compared to a slide that is bound by page size.
Cons
- Templates: Often, the templates are too specific - a more generic template would be nice.
- Sizing: Often times the sizing can appear a bit wonky -- if there were a way to regulate the size of new items such that they match more closely with existing work, that would be helpful.
- Miro has allowed us to refrain from traveling for workshops given how well we can do so in Miro -- as you can imagine, preventing teams of 10+ from traveling is $20K saved each trip.
Drastically - on nearly all calls, we have folks from all regions of the US and other countries. Miro rapidly incorporates each user's actions with little lag, which allows us to collaborate rapidly.
