Overall Satisfaction with Miro
It is a great collaboration, presentation and organisation tool. We use it for brainstorming, writing out use cases, gathering thoughts and ideas and communicating in a visual way. It is especially suited to a product managers role as a stand in for the whiteboard and with remote work being ubiquitous it unlocks the level of F2F collaboration in a globally distributed workforce.
Pros
- Mind maps
- Brainstorming
- Use case design
Cons
- There are no templates for Use Cases
- Integration with existing tools to import/export data more effeciently e.g. Rally, Excel etc.
- Presentation mode could be a little more refined and leverage animations as found in Powerpoint
- Facilitated collaboration in remote work
- Reduced time needed on meetings to collaborate
- Faster alignment on business objectives than traditional remote means
Collaboration is easier. With new projects it is often the case that new participants are put together to help deliver the objective. These new people bring new ways of working and styles that can clash. With Miro as the base platform for collaboration it is easier to align project participants on the objectives and outcomes from the work,
