Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We moved to using Miro as a result of Covid, I now conduct all of my client workshops on Miro. I also find it a useful tool for brainstorming with my team for designing new frameworks.

Pros

  • Allows for workshop participation in a virtual setting
  • Allows us to quickly design campaign architecture virtually
  • Allows us to store a huge volume of linked documents in a visual way

Cons

  • When zooming in it can sometimes be glitchy
  • An easier way to group items - see Adobe as a good example
  • Improved productivity due to all project assets linked in a single place
  • Improved productivity due to increased collobration
  • Cost saving due to no travel for workshops - held virtually on Miro
Implementation was seamless, all users found the miro app intuitive. It is worth noting we are a design agency and are familiar with this kind of software.
We used to host all of our client workshops and internal brainstorming sessions in person. Now we use Miro, this has provided cost savings due to not having to travel to clients' offices but also lets us complete projects faster as it is easier to schedule these meetings virtually. Previously we would limit the number of people in attendance as with travel it would be very costly but now we can invite a larger number confident we will be within budget and everyone will get to contribute.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is well suited to group collobration and is the ideal tool for virtual workshops where I need participation from all users. The features like timers etc are really useful and allow me to present in a professional manner where I have total control over the session.
I would like it to follow some of the design features of Adobe Illustrator more closely.
