Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for a variety of different projects at our organization. The projects I have been involved in use it mostly for team meetings for team building exercises and we also use it a lot for workshops with clients to discuss opportunities in a more visual and dynamic way. Some examples of how my organization has used Miro are to build roadmaps, process mapping, workshops, kanban boards, among several others.

Pros

  • Kanban boards
  • Opportunity mapping
  • Process Mapping
  • Roadmaps

Cons

  • Kanban boards, not very user friendly
  • Helped us show clients the opportunities they had in a visual way
  • Helped design as is and to be process maps for us to show clients a comparison
  • Did not facilitate our scrum meetings since the Kanban board had to be fixed every time we opened it
  • Helped our team feel more united and gave everyone a sense of belonging by offering a space for us to get to know each other
No, I am very fond of Miro and would definitely recommend it over other platforms.
I have never had any problem with it, I believe it integrates well.
We work fully remote, so Miro's integration and capability of uniting teams is essential for us. We use it for different purposes in meetings and it helps everyone follow along well.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I would always rather use Miro than Mural. It is much more user friendly and intuitive.
I believe that it is well suited for most of the activities I mentioned, such as creating visual roadmaps, for workshop sessions with clients, brainstorming sessions, team-building dynamic exercises, as well as creating process maps. The only thing I did not like using Miro for was to create a Kanban board in an agile project. It just did not have that many display options, and sometimes cards would not show the way we wanted them to.
