Overall Satisfaction with Miro

The application is being used by our product and tech department to collaborate on almost every new products that will be launched and or re-engineer current product to align with the market, the interactive collaboration in design and in real time update, plus the ability to modify and comments on flows are working great for us, hence we signed corporate deal with the product

Pros

Cons

  • There isn’t out if the box integratik with our SSO providers, which is keycloak
  • Users management can be little bit tricky if you have free and paid users
  • Non paid users basically will have hard time to protect their Intellectual properties once it shared with othet users
  • Time to market for our products
  • Adjusting products to allign with markets
This tool is something like a must for start up companies, but might not be that crucial for big mature organization, as it can hold a very intensive collaboration between teams with an interactive way
Since we are using keycloak as our SSO, the out of the box implementation is not there, but you can work it our with SAML
This is our place to go for both our engineering and product team, as it has feautures that are just working great for collaboration and brain storming sessions
While the other 2 tools are not intended for pure whiteboard function, but they do have that capabilities, since there are limitations on them, we decided to purchase the tool

Collaboration whether you are launching products, re-engineering them or fixing them is something this tools handle well, if you want to reduce subscription cost, you can even use this tool for your presentation instead of buying another tool(s).
As mentioned the, mixed of free and paid users will potentially create problems with regard to intellectual property, hence plan out your users’s quantity wisely
