Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a Lean Consultant we use it as a tool for multiple things mainly 1. Discover sessions with business partners to do Root Cause Analysis using multiple templates like Concept Maps, FMEA , Empathy Mapping, Design thinking, etc . 2. For Agile-Based planning using Kanban templates , calendars, etc 3. For creating and conducting agile retrospectives and extracting the data and sentiment out of it into excel for further analysis. 4. For Ice-breaker sessions with various template games in workshops and conducting multi-stakeholder sessions
  • Aids in Open Brainstorming in fun way
  • Aids in Creating Complex Flows in simple templates
  • Aids in multi-stakeholder parallel participation via sticky notes, voting , etc
  • Aids in having a larger canvas to portray and plan your project than on excel
  • Exporting data to excel is many times erroneous if done from a table/bordered frame which has sticky notes inside
  • would be cool if it would have a data validation functionality which host can configure for sticky note entries or inside templates
  • Dynamic Templates would be better for eg if a date is added to a kanban template , it is programmed to turn red if work is delayed. Or any kind of automation in templates
  • Improved Productivity
  • Enabled better ideation
  • Better and active stakeholder involvements and participations
Yeah I work from Indian Office with Canadian , US and Phillipines counterparts , so it surely helps in seamless collaboration. As a lean team we use it almost everyday and share the new MIRO boards created with respective stakeholders across these regions to further access and participate. So yes it does help in remote working

MIRO is well suited in scenarios which I mentioned we use 1. 4. For Ice-breaker sessions with various template games in workshops and conducting multi-stakeholder sessions . While it is less suited in programmable planning or dynamic scenarios or where further linkages are required with excel or Tableau
